Adolphe-Simon Neboux : ウィキペディア英語版 | Adolphe-Simon Neboux Adolphe-Simon Neboux (1806-1844) was a French surgeon and naturalist who accompanied the frigate ''Vénus'' under command of Admiral Abel du Petit-Thouars between the years 1836 and 1839,〔(Harvard University Herbaria & Libraries ) List of Botanists〕 visiting the Pacific coastline of North America and the Galápagos Islands. Among species he described are the swallow-tailed gull and the white-capped fruit-dove.
